Let's get serious here for just a little bit. The wedding flowers are always an important part of planning a wedding. Whether you are on a small budget or a large budget, please don't skimp on the wedding flowers. If you absolutely must cut back, please try to cut back on the sizes of your bridesmaid bouquets and flower arrangements and not on the quality. I'll tell you why this is so important. Your entire wedding theme will be based on a particular color and other than the bridesmaid dresses, your wedding flowers will be the next biggest display of your theme color. Another reason the wedding flowers are so very important is because they will reflect the romance and sophistication of your wedding regardless of your budget. When you begin your search for the perfect bridal bouquet you'll have to keep those two things in mind.

Most brides want a professional to design and build your bridal bouquet. The bridal bouquet is very special and a definite part of planning a wedding. When selecting the design of your bridal bouquet, keep in mind the style of your bridal gown, the color of your bridesmaid dresses, the season of the year and the lavishness of your event. When planning a wedding, if you decide that you just can't afford a professional florist, buy your wedding flowers from a professional and have a talented family member or friend arrange them for you. Don't forget that arranging the flowers is only half of it. The bouquets and arrangements will have to be delivered and set up at the church and reception center. This is an important part of planning a wedding that is often overlooked until it's too late to make new plans.
I'm also not a big fan of buying your wedding flowers from out of the country, for example Ecuador. That's okay for an occasion of less importance but two days before the big day, you don't want to have to deal with flowers that have not arrived on time or dead flowers when they do arrive. I don't recommend silk wedding flowers but have provided some sites that you can check out and possibly pick up some design ideas.
There's just no margin for error and while I have had some experience with these markets, it's just not a wise choice when you are planning a wedding.
Lots of brides want wedding favors for their guests. It's usually just a little something to say "thank you for sharing our special day" and, as a guest of many weddings, I can tell you that it's really nice to receive. Some are very extravagant and others simple. And then there are the special gifts you'll want for your bridesmaids and groomsmen.
